About Us

About Cherry Next Step Living I & II

 

Cherry Next Step Living I & II provides Supported Living services for adults who are living independently and do not require 24-hour supervision. Our program is designed to support individuals in maintaining stability, building daily living skills, and remaining active members of their community.

We serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, mental health needs, and others who benefit from structured, person-centered support in a least restrictive environment.

All services are delivered in alignment with each individual’s Person-Centered Plan.

Our Mission

 

Our mission is to support adults in taking the next step toward independence by providing respectful, individualized Supported Living services that promote dignity, choice, and community inclusion.

Our Approach

 

At Cherry Next Step Living I & II, we believe independence looks different for every individual. Our approach focuses on:

  • Promoting independence and daily living skills
  • Encouraging personal choice and self-determination
  • Supporting stability, routines, and community engagement
  • Partnering with families, care coordinators, and support teams
  • Providing services without 24-hour supervision

Housing and services are separate, ensuring individuals maintain their rights and autonomy.

My passion for Supported Living comes from a deep belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and support tailored to their unique needs. Cherry Next Step Living I & II was created to provide a safe, respectful environment where adults can take meaningful steps toward independence—without unnecessary restrictions.
Our program is grounded in person-centered values, community connection, and collaboration with families and care teams. We understand that independence looks different for every individual, and our goal is to support each person in a way that honors their choices, strengths, and goals.
